My dad is deserving of a lunch because even though it costs him money and hurts him painfully (he's had a broken back and now heart problems), he always takes off work when I need something done around the house for me or my daughters. He understand that I'm a single mom and saves me no telling how much on labor and repairs around the house. Just this weekend he took off work (he would have made $1,000) to help me move my pool. He's the BEST.
when we were growin up my dad had a great job and then one day he found out the plant was closing. he worked 2 jobs and still made less than he did at his former job so that my mom could still stay at home with us kids!
