New cream to protect baby's tushie

First, let me state that I cloth diaper, like, 75 percent of the time, so Buttercup's tushie is not prone to diaper rashes like she was when I used disposables like they were going out of style. BUT-and there's always a "but"-she still does get a doozy of a red and irritated tushie from time to time.

When that does happen, I try to stick to the least irritating and most natural of the diaper rash creams that I can find.

Recently, we received a package of the new LANSINOH DIAPER RASH OINTMENT in the mail. And yes, we like it.

Thanks to Lansinoh and their awesome PR crew, I am lucky enough to be the first Mom blogger to try this out!

As you may already know, Lansinoh is known for the comfort they've provided to breastfeeding mothers everywhere. The company has since taken its expertise in breastfeeding skin care and expanded with the Diaper Rash Ointment, which contains a unique blend of ingredients providing triple protection for baby's skin.

The hypoallergenic formula was created to soothe, heal, and prevent diaper rash, and is fragrance-free and preservative-free to boot. I also love the fact that the non-greasy white ointment rubs into the skin clear, so you are don't have to worry about any gukky stuff on clothing or your hands.

And in case you are wondering, this stuff does work. I apply it at night when Buttercup is in for more than a few hours in a wet diaper, and of course, when she needs it during the day. And so far, I am very pleased with the results.

Lansinoh Diaper Rash Ointment retails for $6.99 for a 3 oz tube, and is available nationwide at baby stores, supermarkets, drug stores, as well as online at places like Diapers.com, Toys 'R' Us, and Amazon.

So who wants to enter for a chance at their own Lansinoh Diaper Rash Ointment?

Hi! I'd love to try this cream because my 19 month old son has very senstivie skin, and commonly gets redness and/or rash. We've tried just about every product, some work, some don't, some are just gross, some are too expensive, but I have yet to find the perfect cream, maybe this is it:)

I'd love to try this out. My daughter has very sensitive skin and so far the only ointment that we like is Aveeno. It would be great to find another option. Thanks for the chance! m_huston(at)hotmail(dot)com

I'd like to try this because my daughter has really sensitive skin which seems to be getting worse by the day - it's strange. Anyway, we use cloth diapers so I'm wondering if this would work with them. If not, I'll still try with th elittle cloth we use! THanks.

I'd love to try this out because my daughter has some regular GI issues and her poops are, shall we say, frequent and irritating. Her tush is always red! Thanks.

Ohhhh. I had no idea Lansinoh was making a specific diaper cream now. That's kind of funny because I've always recommended the regular Lansinoh for diaper rashes.

We have a newbie on the way and I've never been happy with the diaper creams available at the drug store and I'm out of the standard Lansinoh. I'd love to give this a shot.

I'd love to try this out! So far, the only thing my son's sensitive skin seems to like is Weleda (not that I've hopped around from brand to brand much - once I found that, I stuck with it), but it's hard to find.

I'd like to try it for my daughter. She has very sensitive cream, and regualr diaper creams just do not work on her. Thanks so much for the opportunity.
